This was my first VW California and was so good I couldn’t trade it in when I bought my 150 bhp DSG. However, I can’t justify keeping it anymore!
Aside from sidebars and a new Fiamma awning, this is how the van left the factory. It’s a six-seater, with deck chairs stowed in the electric-closing tailgate. The electric sliding door also houses the table. With concealed curtains to the rear, this is a fantastic day van. With the pop-top, this van comfortably sleeps four and is an iconic camper van.
Based on the T5.1 the engine with 90,000 miles is viewed as “bomb-proof” by many. The absence of AdBlue is also considered an advantage. The cambelt and water-pump were changed in 2018 and it has been regularly serviced each year. (The MOT is current and you are invited to check the MOT history - PE62 JLX is the reg)
This van has to be seen and driven to better appreciate what good value it offers and how competitively it is priced.
I am happy to answer any questions and undertake “realtime” videos.
