Noco Genius 10 not working correctly...
Does it beep more in cold weather? I ask because charging voltages can peak higher in lower temperatures if your charger uses temperature compensation.
...dimness. I've been looking at B2B chargers. I have a split charge relay in my 2015 T6. I've seen the Sterling BB1225 that charges the starterbattery too. I like this idea as I tend to pitch over the summer for three - four weeks+ in SW France and then 3 weeks in Devon/Cornwall and don't tend...
...winter months.
I have 2 x 120ah 12v AGM leisure batteries installed in parallel (so 240ah I'm told) onboard the van & also a 70ah starterbattery. I'm looking for a battery charger that is suitable to switch between both batteries if poss. I've become somewhat confused by some of the info...
...you got correct gauge cable from starter to dc-dc and to LB?.
Screen shot the Fogstar App, and the victron app.
A... Engine off with no loads on.
B.... Engine running with headlights on full.
C... Pics of the starterbattery terminals, lb terminals, dc-dc terminals
We'll see what we can see.
So I played it quite tight apparently, been a couple of weeks since I started the van and didn't have enough juice to get the engine started. I plugged in a trickle charger and started fine after a full charge.
However (and I have read through other threads but didn't see a definitive answer)...
It won't necessarily turn on the DC-DC charger. Most have an IGN live or run signal to avoid discharging the starterbattery while the engine is not running.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been reading through @Dellmassive guides and it’s just blowing my mind .
So my current setup is victron Orion dc-dc charger without 240v etc.
My aim is to literally just run 1 wire from my house to my van (traditional camping lead)
just to top the starter and the leisure...
The app tells me it’s not charging and after driving for an hour the battery is still at 51% soc
The starterbattery is at 12.7V so above the threshold to charge the leisure.
I have a ex rac van which has the factory fitted leisure battery. It’s an agm battery which was identical to the starterbattery until I replaced it with a bigger one as it was failing to start intermittently. Obviously the old starterbattery didn’t have enough power to start the van but would...
