Stuck in France with ad blue issues garages can't look at it until late August, does anyone know if the carista unit will reset it to give you 50 miles after count down to zero, or anyone who can do a adblue delete in Tullle France.

My T6 Highline doesn’t have the ad-blue in the mfd - we discussed this a few months ago and we suspected that my ad-blue had been deleted. Still not had to put any in so I assume that it has been deleted.

On the Highline, the ad-blue info is in the MFD, scroll through the pages you’ll see MPG/oil temp/instantaneous mpg/ad-blue range etc. Unless the Ad-Blue has been deleted by a previous owner.

Does your van have Ad Blue. Had exactly the same situation on a Peugeot. Ad Blue delete cured the problem.

Yeah, it’s got the bad blue filler. Previous posts suggest that if the mfd has the ad blue display it would still show if deleted? I’ve had it a couple of months and done about 1500 miles

Sounds like you had the same symptom but maybe not the exact situation. If every car with adblue had exhaust gases like that the roads would be blocked.

Oof. Bad luck. Out of curiosity, how much was recovery, roughly? Will definitely be looking into the ad blue delete.

So.....would it be worth removing the dpf and having it cleaned and then getting a new delete map installed by someone like Dav-tec to deal properly with the egr and ad blue? Then hopefully you'll be back to normal dpf regen operation.

Maybe your ad-blue has been deleted by a previous owner. How long have you owned the van, how many miles have you done since taking ownership? I’m assuming your van is a Euro6. Does it have an adblue filler under the diesel filler?

I have egr delete with DPF and Ad Blue still in place. Been like that for 27 months and well over 20k miles with no issues.

Just for the sake of balance, and in no way an attempt to defend the seller in this case. Plenty of folk, including members on here, delete various emissions devices/systems. Ad-Blue/EGR/DPF etc. No-one bats an eye, at some point in the future, those modified vans are going to hit the market...

ECU can be done but has to be sent away. There’s a thread on here somewhere. It also costs a ton of money! Maybe one day someone will work out how to do in situ, but dont think so yet. Re ad blue delete, isn’t it also an MOT failure if discovered?

We ended up getting the van taken back by a private company, I have now had tge ad blue delete done by a UK company which cost £350 and took 40 mins, if you can get someone in France to do the same I would suggest that, we are still disputing with the RAC over costs.
