    Thank you! Last two questions. As per the diagram below, isn’t there already a fuse for the battery? (Red arrow) and if I just disconnected the white clips and the solar (the green arrows), this should be safe to keep the controller connected to the battery when the solar is not in use?

    looks to me like the panel has failed.? is you get volts say in morning, the sun come out and you loose the volts, its normally thermal expansion causing micro cracks in the cell connections go open circuit. so cut the panel off. . . fit vinyl wrap and stick down a new panel to that. +++...

    Electric set up for camper conversions

    This is exactly how I am doing my Van. They have a built in inverter so can run the microwave and I have changed to an electric hob so I no longer need Gas in the van. My solar panel also wires directly into the echo flow without needing another control unit.
