Thank you :) I did think about just a normal fitted sheet with maybe a clip to hold them on at the corners.... or maybe we just go without them.... I just wondered if anyone had found some other than textbox which seem really good but a hefty price tag. :)
No they are hidden away.
I will attempt to see if I can locate them today, weather permitting.
I will need to look in behind the built in furniture, using a camera probe.
To access the top mounts you need to remove the scuttle panel at the bottom of the windscreen - remove the two 13mm nuts holding each wiper blade on, prize these off and then unclip the plastic scuttle panel up from the locating channel across the base of the windscreen.
Then you need to remove...
French hookup can be a different style to the conventional 16A blue plug and skt we use here but loads of places here sell the Euro adaptor lead.

Yep, I couldn’t see how to get the switch out without doing that. There may be a way but a trim tool wouldn’t shift it so I removed the surround and pushed the switch out from the back
Hello all
First post here, probably of many, as I (hopefully) begin my journey into T6.1 ownership.
I'm in the market for a T6.1 Kombi, SWB, with 4motion and the 199/204 engine - but am trying to gauge what is a fair price.
Let's say I was looking around the 2020 mark, 50-60k miles. Happy to...
Welcome to us all @HavAnAdventure !
Upstairs and downstairs we just use a double fitted sheet and tuck it in a bit.

Just in case a reset is needed, you can also buy a cheap ‘multi key’ that will get you into a lot of boxes if they’re locked. I can also remember a few occasions over the years when when a breaker had already been tripped when we arrived and needed resetting - on one of those, I had to pick a...
Similar to Dellmassive - my last van was originally a panel van. I bought it with non-VW 'certified' seats in the back fixed into Unwin rails. All fully insured through Brentacre no issues. Swapped it all out in favour for full length rails & full-width seat/bed from a Caravelle - updated...
The microwave 800w power rating will pull much more on the 240 mains side?.... Unless you have checked with a plug in power meter?
As others have said just use one big ticket item at a time.
When you get there, check the EHU post to see if you can self reset the breaker if it pops.
I'm thinking AC compressor clutch bearing.
See if you can get a video clip on your phone.
The closest you can get to the AC compressor is under the van, front. Drivers side..... They normally make a sqweel sound.
Other options are any pully in the auxiliary belt.
