This is not the case.
The airbag on the plastic startline steering wheel will fit and work fine on a MFSW. You will however require the correct loom.
ALL VW steering wheels with the 2 prongs either side will fit also the T6.
Polo golf Passat etc.
EURO6 T6’s will require T6 buttons to work...
2018 Highline with MFSW and I’ve got the front radar for brake assist.
A. How useful /reliable is the ACC?( it’s a 6 speed manual)
B. Is there anyone who could guide me on the parts needed and do the coding?
Thanks
Unless your T6 is an earlier EURO5 version I seriously doubt they will work. But maybe wrong.
You can fit a MFSW and activate cruise control on your T6 even if it’s a startline. But you need buttons from a T6 to work on a EURO6 T6.
Looking at a van, it's a T6 66 plate Highline PV, Euro 5. Looking at the pics, it's got cruise on left stalk. It's got a MFSW but no cruise on left.
I thought all Highlines were the same with cruise on wheel ?

I purchased a flat bottom wheel from a passat and swapped the buttons between the two wheels. So the buttons on this wheel are from the passat.
...As far as I know he did the retrofits:
1- MK100ESC
2- Lane Assist with VW UP! Power Steering
3- MQB-A0 stalks (as I have seen on video)
4- R-LINE MFSW with ACC
He also changed his front windshield to T6.1's.
Other things else I don't know, but these are pretty enough for our next breakthrough.
...be, provided you have the right base spec.
If your van already has Front Assist and standard cruise control on a Multi-Function Steering Wheel (MFSW), the hard work is practically already done for you.
If you already have the MFSW and standard cruise, the wiring is already right where it...
...There are many sellers on Aliexpress with the same product. You’ll notice their listing give different options for button layouts - searching golf mfsw buttons or “golf steering wheel buttons”. They’re all programmable using the diagram I posted above. Am I allowed to post the seller link here?
Just checked out the web and socials.
They have a some good diag kit and some good history of vag motors.
Looks like a good place to take my Bus too.
To have a MFSW fitted and upgrade the CC to ACC?.
...horn/airbag and no change. Still no horn.
The squib I got was second hand eBay, so there is a slim chance that it too was damaged, but that is where I am stuck.
I need some troubleshooting steps, focusing on getting the horn working again, then I can focus on the MFSW.
Any help much appreciated
