I have wet dogs, wet coats and muddy wellies in my van every day, the aircon is always on, there's never any condensation on front or rear screens.

i removed mine along with all the rear aircon pipes, I don't need it and want to put units in.

...on it, on the drivers side there is metal pipes just a foot or so past the drivers door toward the rear, you use the hose to loop the pipes together, the rear aircon is pretty easy to disconnect also, I removed mine and just kept the aircon in the cab area, let me know if you need anymore info.

Quick update, spoken to a number of converters since the original post, @slidepods are able to fit a pop top and retain the rear aircon, definitely booking in with these guys. Anna was super helpful on the phone too

You get rear parking sensors aircon

If you have twin digital temp displays in the front then you have got rear aircon as well, with just buttons in the overhead panel above the middle row of seats. If you don’t have the digital display in the front then your rear will just blow ambient air at its coolest setting but does also...

Front arm rests can be retro fitted. I think they are about £100 - £120, or were last time I looked. Again, if the rear seat did become a problem for you it could be sold on and a 2/1 bought to replace it. I believe they use the same fixings, but am sure someone will be along to confirm shortly.

Afternoon @Pauly the old unit had 2 plugs going into the rear of the panel 1) with 5 big cables 2) with the smaller cables Then the new unit has 3 plugs which is its own separate loom that clips into the heater blower/ heater matrix/aircon/ sensors all together Hope this helps many...
