I'm thinking AC compressor clutch bearing.
See if you can get a video clip on your phone.
The closest you can get to the AC compressor is under the van, front. Drivers side..... They normally make a sqweel sound.
Other options are any pully in the auxiliary belt.
Said earlier that I would stay with Adrian Flux, but spoke to Just Kampers on the phone who were most helpful, discussed accessories and mods. Also appeared to take into account max NCDs on our cars. Finished up nearly £90 less than A F. They are aware that I was with A F and were able to access...
Reverse polarity on a campsite electric hook-up is usually not immediately dangerous, but it is not considered safe and should be corrected if possible.
In the UK, live and neutral are expected to be connected a certain way. On some European campsites, live and neutral may be reversed. Many...
10 amp is plenty , just dont expect to have your kettle, toaster, heater all on at the same time.
Easier to cook on gas.
Given up checking for reversed polarity, never caused me any problems.
@Drive Wayne
We’re off to Brittany for a week soon. We have a basic hook-up cable with RCD trip for the alpicool fridge and phone charging.
Is reverse polarity going to cause us any issues?
Ease of maintenance was clearly not a design consideration.
Another explanation I have seen (though once again a different layout to yours) :-

Camping Gentele in Bruges recently had a 10 amp supply and a 5kw limit, I managed to trip it using the van induction hob wound down to 1600 watts. Fortunately it was an App based reset, but that should only have been about 7A. You're wise to be cautious! Also 3 different sites we stayed on had...

Thanks, pictures make for easier comparison of ways in.
I have the Santorini conversion done in 2018 they thought (last owners).
It is a nice conversion but not done with any thought given to maintenance and easy of access.
My electics are under another hidden hatch, to the right of my water...
Hi,
My 17" Devonports are due to come off 19th June.
Complete with Maxxis Vansmart MCV3+ tyres.
All tyres dated 2025 with loads of tread as per pictures.
Overall in nice condition. I haven't got any wheel cleaner at the mo and one has some stubborn dirt on as per the pics. I may get round to...
Evening chaps, over thinking things as usual but heading to Camping du letty in August with 10amp supply so around 2300 watts? Trying to figure out what I’m going to be pulling on the van power wise to avoid tripping, does the below look about right would you say? Thinking fridge will be on all...
