No problems there - it's just power feed. Actually has come like that from factory. No change in CANbus configuration.

Just revisiting this thread because I went down the portable battery bank route with an AllPowers S700 (606wh) but it failed after a couple of months.
I got a full refund and told to keep the faulty unit so I sold that for £150 on fleabay.
Couple of observations:
It was nice to have...
Yes, the SC fuse box pins. I have 3 piggy backs in the under dash fuse box and want to tidy it up. I'm looking to run a switched ignitionlive from the central column in one of the unused slots as per some of your other threads (thank you) to a mini fusebox so I can then use this to supply dash...
It's the red connector (T17p) which has 17 pins. See the wiring in -

You could take permanent +12V e.g. from pin 17 (red/yellow wire). See the attachment of...
Thanks once again , next ?? CTEK 250 se connecting the piggy back lead to the fuse box under the dash , what size fuse to feed the wire for the ignitionlive feed , the thin red wire
Also, if you’re planning to install a DC-DC straight away anyway be aware that the factory aux battery isn’t necessarily the most cost effective route. You could undoubtedly buy a bigger battery yourself for less money - the slight downside being you’d need to install yourself including...
Hi. Please accept my apologies if posted before but I cannot seem to
Seek the answer I need.
I’ve wired a drop down screen requiring an ACC (ignitionlive), a B+ (permanent live) and an earth (I’ve earthed to the top seat belt bolt on drivers side)
I understand the difference between ignition...
So it seems the standard 12 outlets are permanently live. I have one in dash, one just behind passenger slider at floor level, and one drivers side in rear load area at floor level. My one behind slider doesn’t work, but 15 amp fuse under passenger seat is fine.
One linked to stereo in dash...
...you plan to plug into the 3pin 240vac socket.
USB outlets are normally 12v, so see more on fitting them here:

Yes permanent. The Westfalia tow bar electrics came as a two part kit. One is the main 13 pin kit with module (that needs the remote fuse box) and the second kit has a live going to the battery along with a relay for the aux live to the trailer. This is only live when the ignition is on.
So...
Picked up a new T6.1 Kombi last week, removed the rear under tray to fit a tow bar, could not believe the dirt in it.
Where has it been parked since it was built.
Do they off road them out of the factory?
Cheers
PS still looking for an ignitionlive fuse to piggy back off of and a fuse diagram.
...you will need to cut and divert the feed to the correct source"

Hi @Dellmassive, I'm just installing my leisure battery and found these wires under the passenger seat, I've uncovered the thick 10mm red and it is labelled with a sticker, does that mean it's good to use for the dc - dc charger? If so will I need to fuse it or should it be fused already? Thanks.
Good to know thanks for coming back to me, one more question...I assume it still needs an ignitionlive feed from the vehicle fusebox under the gear stick?
