There is nothing stopping you fitting 20” alloys on your T6. Have a search in the wheels section of the Forum, there are more discussions in their than you can shake a stick at. Personally I have seen a T6 sitting on 21” rims. As to what VW have told you is based upon them only selling 18” rims...

Big wheels is a worldwide thing anyway. Alot of new Audi and bmws come with optional 19, 20 & 21 inch wheels. They won't wreck anything either. Is all down to taste. The best ride I have had in my van was 19" and my new vac with have the abt 20s. Abt is german. So it can't be a Brit thing.

cheers :D I'm not sure exactly how much it's lowered, I've got bilstein b14 coilovers on it with 21 inch bbs chr alloys, the bilsteins are expensive but the ride quality etc is brilliant compared to the cheaper versions...... you get what you pay for in my eyes!
