^^^^ exactly where I put my rear-view camera, I presume a reversing camera would be the same ( I don't know how the reversing switch would work with one of them). Just picked up the ignition live power from the rear wiper for mine. A rear-view camera is better for keeping an eye on a small...
...of a Wolfbox dashcam on a T28 (2019).
On the fusebox at I right in thinking the left row is permanently live with the centre column switchedlive?
I purchased the hardwire kit that I was planning on using, would the ACC wire (Red) go to the central fuses and the B+ wire (yellow) go to the...
I am sure the boys at Absolut5 will be able to furnish the information you require. Just give them the details of the OEM head unit and they will advise if the mod can be done

I have the fridge on a cbe rocker switch (switch on right) which I put on when we set off to go camping.
I've just checked, my diesel heater is on the leisure battery, but it's not through the switching, so wired direct off battery via a fused live terminal.
...there having investigated all other basic options (as I see it). When removing the key from the ignition the van no longer kills the switchedlive to the audio system (i.e. the radio doesn't automatically turn off). And additionally I am unable to lock the van using the key fob (which I...
Your challenge is going to be the ignition live aspect, there are a few high current options under the seat in standard wiring but nothing ignition switched.
A 500w inverter is going to be about 50A draw on the 12v DC side.
Anything over 30A is non trivial electrical work as a rule of thumb...
I did the 3 way rocker. 1 uses the +ve (switched earth spliced from the existing lights) so the lights come on with the door opening. 0 is off (unwired). 2 uses an earth to the body for constant power. Fed the live direct from the leisure battery.

Which is the permanent live feed and which is the switched negative on a timer when the door is opened? (or reversed if its permanent negative and switchedlive) I have got a multimeter, but its really awkward to prod around when bent...
...(ideally ignition cut off) to either the rear seats or rear boot area. Only feed seems to be to the lights which are I assume only on a switchedlive. I'd love to avoid having to mess about too much, firstly for warranty and secondly as it's quite a new van having to pull too much apart...
Another small update. Managed to code the tailgate, so thats good.
Also got a release switch fitted inside. I did want an oem T6 switch, but there must be unicorns trained to poope them out given the prices asked for them. Near £100 groats for the switch and plastic surround!! No thanks, so i...
Thanks all, a factory reset send to have solved most of the problems now. Clearly the software just getting AFU. The unit still switches off after each engine switch off and needs to be restarted with the remote each time to keep the fridge going but I can live with it. Appreciate all the...
Thanks for sharing this, I’m trying to figure out which fuses to use on my T28. I don’t know why I thought that the left row was permanent live. I see you have connected to the right and centre, centre being switchedlive? Attached view of my fuseboard. Thank you.
Yes, the remote H pin is just telling the charger function to power on or off, not powering on the device.
The DC-DC is getting power from the battery. If it wasn't, the remote wouldn't work.
Hello. I'm currently installing some T6 power folding wing mirrors into my 2016 T6 Highline. The instructions are a little vague as to where I can tap into a permanent live and ignition live.
"4/The red ( permanent live ) & black(earth) from the module can beconnected behind the dashboard.A...
Hi, sorry I have been away and just seen this message.
If I remember correctly I ended up taking the switchedlive from the washers and had an empty slot which was a permanent live so used that. Not had any issues with it so far.
