Yes I can get you a video. I'll show the vehicle data on the video. Yes it has wireless carplay and android auto. I've seen a few of these android based headunits for sale and always been sceptical - but a lot of the others don't have wireless options or keep original parking sensors etc...

You need to have wired CarPlay / Android. The unit just turns wired into wireless.

Forgot to add.. i found a guy on a FB forum who was relatively near to me! basically changed the screen & added Apple CarPlay too.. I've also added a wireless adapter so my phone connects a few seconds after the ignition's on.. Cushty :cool:

I know….we’re now asking ourselves why we didn’t get one years ago! We did have a Peugeot 5008 but the back 2 seats were not the most practical. Ah yes….good shout…keep meaning to get one for our other car. Any recommendations or are the all much of a muchness?

Afaik wired CarPlay may use either while wireless CarPlay is required to use car’s GPS - as the phone may be eg in a bag or on a charging pad. Not sure though how it’s in T6 and if a wired to wireless dongle changes anything.

Its either screen cast, or CarPlay, that's locked to hardware specific. All the units issued after 5th Jan are CarPlay AA.
