    Turbo not right

maybe check: the rear EGR pipe, EGR cooler, Front EGR pipe, turbo wastegate (assuming this was set correctly when fitted?) front & rear charge intercooler pipes, intercooler itself. inlet manifold/or gasket (its plastic) if the boosted air is leaking, then you should be able see/smell/feel it...

...T6 former Panel van camper. It’s a 102 high line ( if that helps) 77k miles We have had a Yellow warning light which our garage suggests is the EGR and should be replaced . Another ERG question

You needn't worry. Your engine isn't one of the versions that can be badly damaged by the EGR, so no fear there. The EGR on yours can clog up or fail, but typically youll get a bit of warning if it ever needs replacement. Just carry on as you are and enjoy the drive.

    EGR Insufficent Flow - Carista

...After a 300 mile journey through the night, EML popped up and Carista says "exhaust gas insufficient flow A" My specialist says, either new EGR or blank off EGR.. likely going to be expensive. I had the inlet manifold replaced earlier in the year due to excessive carbon build up. No cheap...

Please don't be the head gasket...!

Just be aware, when using a 'sniff tester' - head gasket test, that if the EGR valve is cracked / leaking, that you could be getting exhaust gases mixing that way - which would give a positive head gasket fail result with the tester, even if it has not failed. \ Easiest check for an EGR issue...

...plugs were new or old one refitted from the previous engine.... As I've had some slow starts when it's been cold. And asked them to check the EGR, as I'm seeing signs of a very slow. Coolant loss? Most likely internal?. The previous engine had a new EGR at 35k as it was blocked. And now...

Yellow solid EML light and VW dealer fully booked

Read the codes, check the fault. Most likely emission related, and most likely EGR insufficient flow as a guess..... Assuming it hasn't had the EGR replaced yet, and your at 70k.?

The DAUA of doom. You've never seen this fault.

I removed the entire EGR assembly on my T6 after I found water in the EGR pipe and I take manifold… bye bye! The darkside kit is very good, super easy to fit, the EGR assembly as a hole is an ar$e to remove! The result is a cooler running engine as the already stretched cooling system on the...
