    Carista codes incl. 00087

Should have mentioned - 2018 T6 150ps on about 56,000 miles. Drives lovely, although I have noticed possibly slightly more frequent regens than I would have expected recently. TIA!

CXEB 2018 - flashing coil light and limp mode

It didn't look like that when I checked the regen status (showed 0, rather than 2) and it definitely completed before that.

DPF Regen Until Soot Level >8g

My regen starts about every 350km. This the graph on page 65 taught me a lot. When I look at my soot calc value it starts to regen around 18grams just like what the graph says. Although I have never seen that dash light buring.

Gentlemen, lm new to the forum my name is Ronny .

While I have never tried to see if a regen happens below 1/4 tank of fuel, I have seen it documented in quite a few places. Nice to know that soemone has tested it though thanks @Skyliner33 I suppose a forced regen might require a bit of trial and error, and would be good to have it documented.

T6.1 Reduce oil level and Oil dilution

Update was before. That issue last week was me interrupting a regen seemingly and the van continued it on the next restart

Strange engine behaviour at low rpm and throttle

DPF regens alter ignition timing to help increase exhaust temperatures which sometimes feel like a slightly lumpy idle/hesitation to rev If your only doing short journeys you could be stuck in a loop of non complete regens ??

    DPF regen

I hate it when I feel I have to read instructions, but that 'measured' and 'calculated' was bugging me...

DPF monitor - how to read

Mine went to 100% then started the regen, went down to 30% I think. Think there's something in the settings about calibrating the %age. Not sure (and I'm not going at to the van to connect as it's peeing down here.

    Crank no start...but then does...

The thing that has me most bamboozled is, why with nothing done to the DPF would it not throw an EML when it failed to regen for over a thousand miles. Was that all just because of failed regens due to short journeys etc etc? The differential pressure was way past the point of needing to tell...

Forcing DPF Regen. EML light flashing, Limp Mode

I have a T6 Caravelle, CXEB 150Kw Engine, that goes into limp mode. It needs the DPF to regen, but that has gone too sooty for normal regen, due to running with fuel light on. Hence need to force regen. Using VCDS 01 Engine Security S12345 Adaptation -> IDE07903 Adaptation of Ash Enter new value...

DPF Regen Until Soot Level >8g

I have an OBD reader (bluetooth) and an app, my regens seem to be happening VERY regularly. will check what soot level they start at, an update might be a good option. Has anyone got to the bottom of why Regens might happen more often than not an whether they will eventuallly do damage? I have...

Would resetting value in measuring block 068 to 30% and then try a forced regen help?

Deposit down on a (new for me) Kombi - questions and essentials?

Is there anyway of predicting when it will do a regen? Doesn’t 85% mean it’s 85% saturated or anything like that?

    DPF regen

If you've any concerns over DPF regen's would suggest getting the DPF monitor for VAG app and a suitable bluetooth obd dongle. Essentially soot mass measured or soot mass calculated will trigger a regen when a set value is achieved - you can see these in the app.

How do I get van to regen?

Drive it. After the requisite mileage, once its up to temp itll do a regen. Thats always assuming there isn't a fault or some muppet hasnt mapped it out.

    DPF regen

Looks like it regenned after you left work and before you got home, I think! 29g of soot and 97% is an indicator of regen about to start, after regen mine goes to around 8g of soot. Not quite sure where soot mass measured comes in to play, minus 5.82? Eh?!
