Hi @T6Ollie
Have a word with Ian at Van and bus he will advise on trimming the front winddeflector ends to stop any whistles. He did mine in about a minute when he he roof was just fitted.
We've got the JK silver (external) screen covers with winddeflectors (can't remember the make though). The covers fit fine on the sides and we always leave the windows open to just above the lower edge of the deflectors. TBH. I'm not sure quite how much actual ventilating the windows do when...
Bit of a daft question, I always have front windows cracked open (with winddeflectors) will the side covers still fit with windows down a touch?
Thanks
Cappa VW Volkswagen Transporter T6 T6.1 Bonnet WindDeflector Guard
Fits the VW T6 and T6.1
*Never fitted. I removed its protective film, and started assembling it to fit (see photos), and then got sidetracked, and back in the box it went.
Only £20 - Collection from Fife. - Now sold, thank you
Hi woziejo81. The first picture shows a small plastic moulded part that is supplied with the winddeflectors. It simply places in the window slot and presses onto the outside of the frame - it is designed to be a stiff interference fit so it is removable (in theory) Then the winddeflector sits...
And yet when I spoke to Autohaus about the wind noise, and suggested a full length deflector would help, they quoted, if I remember right, about £120 to change mine!
I started with one of those,
A carry over from the tent camping days.
I had the window cracked open and passed the cable though, the winddeflector stopped the rain getting in.
But that's just the link cable, you still need the EHU point to plug into.
My 6.1 is with winddeflectors fitted, and like you always had them fitted, wishing you success in finding a fix for our rattles, the passenger side never rattles on our van, very odd
Eventually got round to fitting my Clim-Air winddeflectors. I had Heko previously but they caused wind noise \9and one eventually blue off while driving)

Got the van booked in for the leisure battery terminals to be tidied up and made compliant.
Fitted the pre-loved winddeflectors from @Lmuk17 with some new 3M tape. Took me a few minutes to work out they weren't ones that slotted into the window channel !
...for a pop top and installer would be appreciated. We are in Doncaster. Personally I like the look of the Reimo because of the winddeflector at the front, it just blends in really well but it's expensive and I am a Yorkshireman lol. I'm definitely wanting a bi fold bed as we are having u...
Does any one have the same issue where the roof seal comes over the top of the winddeflector? When the roof is up and pulled shut the seal is all in place correctly i.e. behind the wind break. After some time it some how works its way over the top and you then get a draught and more wind noise...
I think the rear window deflector for a Dacia Duster might fit over the front edge of the window with 3m tape - just for wind deflection (no rain protection really).
