So I'm currently running 255/45/18 but after reading more and more tyre threads some say 235/55/18 are a better tyre size. More comfortable and fill the arch more 🤔🤔 Even more confused now 😕

Set of genuine Sportline wheels for sale. In overall okay condition, some lacquer damage to a couple. Tyres are 235/55/18, 104 load rated. All winter tyres with 5-6mm tread depth. £475ono. Based near Aberdeen.

For a 17” Swamper on standard suspension you can go 245/65/17, lowered 235/65/17 or even lower with a 225/65/17 On an 18” Swamper a 235/55/18 works really well We sell all wheels and tyre package so are happy to quote and offer an advise required

Mine are 235/55 18, so probably a similar volume oif air. and Im 44 front and rear with a camper conversion aboard and Eibach HD rear springs. Try thjat as a starting point and fiddle from there.

I’m running 235/55/18 on my 2022 T6.1 Caravelle and my tyre pressures are 41psi all round. Seems ok to me.

Last Autumn I paid £600 for 4 Michelin Cross Climate 2's in 235/55/18 fitted and balanced.

This in my van on Michelin CrossClimates 235/55/18. It's on factory springs.

...currently is very good on 235/50/18. The van feels almost chuckable and is really stable at speed. So losing that is a concern too. At the risk of posting yet another van pic. Is it possible to say what would look best. Either 235/65/17 or 235/55/18. Thoughts & comments gratefully welcomed

I looked at the general grabbers but not great reviews on wet roads, so was looking at Goodyear Vectors instead

235/55 18 Cooper ATs on mine. No issues with the arches. Nice and quiet, fairly neutral with with grip and handling.

You have no arch rub with these when turning at all? I’ve just bought some 18s and trying to work out what tyres to purchase was looking. At the 235/55 and the 255/55 and getting confused!!

Some people have suggested this! And it’s more affordable for me not to change wheels. is it possible for me to have a spare wheel that matches the total size using the 16” steel wheel it came with?

That's a thing ... so mines a 4Mo, currently on 235/55/18 not sure what size the spare is but it's a 17 incher ... so if I had to put the spare on (on the back) would it upset the 4Mo gubbins if the rear wheels weren't being driven at all?
