I meant your phone. I was wondering if when you plugged it into the other USB if there is some sort of conflict occurs, ad the phone would be trying to connect via the Ottocast and also via the USB lead. Ps a bit of blood will be fine, no need to spill too much though.

Why can’t they use their phone? I imagine image quality will be basic if you use the dash screen. Treat them to a phone holder and remove the risk of you getting distracted at the same time.

For people with an android phone, how are you connecting phone to the dash? Bluetooth, WiFi hotspot, using cast or another app to mirror phone etc? Cheers

Just as a side note, I've fitted a Carplay/AA unit in my 5 series. My phone won't connect if Nord VPN is active.
