Hello to everyone,
I have been watching the forum a lot over the last half a year to which i finally made an account a couple of months back. I've now paid for the membership as i believe the information on here alone is worth tenfold that.
I just want to start by saying what an amazing team...

No, Looking at the wiring diagrams the wiper motors have an additional feed supplied by the BCU that allows them to park. However the BCU tends to power stuff off when you remove the keys and the rest after 15 minutes so you might be able to get them to stop half way up if you whip the key out...

Brilliant Loz thanks,
It is pulling the key out fast to be fair. I'am being paranoid think as I accidentally pulled the wiper fuse a few days ago while looking for a switched live feed for my Leasure Battery charger but everything was put back.
If you do get a chance to try it that would be...
In May 2018, I went for a used (6month old, 4k miles) vehicle as the spec was so close to what I wanted and I believe I got it for a superb price. According to the dealer – the previous owner had bought x6 Transporters last year for his business and this vehicle was his – he returned it after...

Hi.
I'm new to the forum and just purchased my first T6 (Had a T5 for years) Hope someone might be able to help to resolve a problem?
I've just purchased a Stolen / Recovered 2016 Kombi from an insurance company. It's only done 20,000 miles, in reasonably good condition too.
Basically, the van...
I have recently purchased a June 2017 204 EU6 T6 panel van with 8,500 miles. If I don’t use the van for 2 days the battery is low and it won’t turn over or start.
I measured the drain with everything off, the key removed and the doors locked and it was 2.5Amp! I waited for another 30m minutes...
New to the forum and to T6s so hello! I also took the plunge on DSG but that was driven more by my wife wanting an auto. I held on to find a 4Motion, DSG, 204, SWB and it’s a nice drive! Definitely feel the hesitancy when pulling away but I found it’s a quirk that I’ve quickly accommodated for...
Thank you for such an informative read. I write out my statements in exactly the same fashion. So no nee to apologise to me for a long statement.
I am just so glad I read your problems before I signed up to an installer with them.
So no HiLo for me now. That’s for sure.
All the best buddy.
Had OEM LED rear light disconnected for a few minutes (because of sliding door rail adjustment). It was recorded as fault (see below). Didn't have ignition on during the job but ignition key was still in place in lock (though turned fully ccw) so there were some activity still in the van -...
Only just seen this sound advice, though I had to chuckle at the AA advising if you need professional help call the RAC! (Apologies, no-one likes a smartarse... )
