...that is ignition controlled. There are spare un-populated spaces in the fuse box. You can buy the connectors (ask @Pauly) that fit into the spare ways, to provide a dedicated ignitionlivefeed. There are other options, have a read through this lot.

I’m currently looking to convert my t5.1 to 6.1 and I know that the wiring is different in the tailgate of a 6 and 6.1,I’ve watched the you tube vid etc.people seem to require a permanent livefeed but I’m confused my tailgate has the electrical handle already that works with no keys in ignition...
Hi all,
Looking for some help with a 2022 T6.1 and a CTEK D250SE install.
I’ve been trying to find a clean ignition‑livefeed for the CTEK IGN wire. I originally used Fuse 40, then tried Fuse 47, but both behave inconsistently. Sometimes the CTEK shows the orange IGN light when I unlock the...
Hi folks thanks for all the helps so far.
I’m back oem (ish)
We now have a composition media head unit
Vibe powerbox amp and a vibe sub all fitted and working. (Better than expected too)
Dab issue is fixed
CarPlay is almost fixed awaiting a part
Lastly on my kenwood setup I had a switched...
Hi all,
I have just purchased a Garmin Dashcam Mini 2 to use as a rear camera in my T6. I have also purchased the Garmin parking mode cable to wire it in permanently.
However I need to find an ‘Accessory 12v’ feed, i’m presuming this is a switched/ignitionlive?
Where would I find a switched...
Not absolutely necessary, you can use the engine running detection feature, I tried it and wasn’t happy with the functionality, it was a bit of an unknown quantity. So I went down the ignitionlive route and am happier for it.
Finally had a solar panel fitted to the popup roof and switched the leisure battery over to Lithium. Chris also had a good look at what was draining the battery when left for a few days. They will remain nameless but 2 different installers had wired sockets to the livefeed rather than the...
Afternoon all
Regards the ignitionlivefeed to the Orion. Do we leave the bridge between H-L in or remove it? The installation instructions are vague to say the least. They show it going into the H but also the bridge still there. Also if we have an ignitionfeed do I disable the engine shut...
Mine is wired in as it came out of the box, no ignitionfeed, not changed the shut down detection, it works perfectly. I was always fiddling with the old TR30 to play nicely.
I have a Road Angel Halo Go - absolute waste of money - interface to watch footage a joke.
Cheap and cheerful Dashcam for my wife’s car (no frill's) fitted last week so can’t say about durability - but working well for a cheap front facing Dashcam - so far.
Not sure if has parking sensor as...
Hi folks.
Finally got round to installing aftermarket powerfold mirrors in my T6.
I’m going to piggyback the permanent live and ignitionlivefeeds in the fuse box below the gear lever but I’m a newbie and have no idea the best fuses to piggyback for each of these feeds.
Has anybody done this...
Do you have an ignitionlivefeed connected to your DCDC? If so, what is it connected to at the other end? Without the engine on the Renogy shouldn’t be taking half an amp out of the starter.
do i splice it in to the Reverse (purple) or find an ignitionlive? i believe i shouldn't wire it into the reverse bulb wiring loom due to canbus errors.
Head unit= Pioneer SPH-DA77DAB
Interface= connects 2 FKIT-VW-66
Reverse Cam= Road angel RA 8100
if that helps.
also tidied up the leads a little
Plug something into the socket and see if it goes off when you turn the ignition off.
If it is a Dashcam with parking mode you may need two feeds to use all the features - one to constant live and one to live when ignition on - otherwise it won’t know to switch mode.
Hardwire kits are not too...
Thanks for all the replies, I will give it a go tomorrow! Also, I know there’s so many threads on this but what colour wire would an ignitionlive be? I have a suspicion that I may have one under the seat since I have an own battery feed there
