1.5hrs reading all that thread while "working"!! Great build, looks good don't sell, i sold my T6 thinking, I'll be happier back in a car again... now back in T6.1:p

I just think all the extra locks would put me off rather than looking like something I'd wanna add when building a posh new van .

Collected this today T6.1 Highline Tailgate with no glass 26K on the clock. Very excited to start a build thread… if that’s still a thing.

I can understand the carbon build up , but what about continous loss of coolant caused by EGR ?

I’ve emailed them this morning, they’ve been helpful before so fingers crossed.

Surely there is someone starting a build who can make use of this. I dont want to tip it.

The whistle isn’t normal you can hear it echoing back from buildings as you pass by etc is worse when being driven.

Yep. I saw that listing. Was just a bit worried about build quality as i did not see a brand name.

This is the uSeat multi by coolwhipcampers. Long wheel base and took 2 days to build and a final day (today) fitting,sanding etc.

...coolant and it’s literally a drip a minute, so just starting to fail. There were a couple of rust spots in the EGR itself. I reckon I’ve caught it just about right. The carbon build up wasn’t bad tbh, but most of my miles are long haul motorway holiday miles. Very little local stop start stuff.

The one we are building is tailgate. Watch this space

Pretty sure there are ISOFIX points (not just labels on the upholstery) but it's currently buried under loads of other stuff (have had building work on the house) so it's difficult to check

And based on the wiring kit you have your van does not have trailer prep (1D0 on your build label) ?
