The actual steering wheels are the same as long as they have the 2 clip holes on the left and right. I had a plastic wheel on my startline bought a flat bottom steering wheel and fitted T6 buttons and surround and used my original air bag. I needed additional wiring and coding in.

In that case I'm not sure, didn't really ask, just love the outcome ha ha!

The 'before' pic is a round wheel and 'after' pic is flat-bottomed, so strongly suspect a completely new wheel.

We just went the direct route top to bottom as we had accommodation down there.

Hi I suspect if the air bag is a different shape the switches will most likely not fit but I don’t know for shaw . I do have a nice flat bottom t6.1 complete with switches and air bag but it will not work on my t5.1 as it’s not compatible with the BCM .

Mine was the same dead battery drivers door wouldn’t open had to open rear door with key and climbed through to open doors, I did take the lock out of drivers door someone had taken this out before and didn’t line the rod up with key socket easy fix

If ss custom fails, I used a company on instagram for mine, called "trimycar" . Charges me £130, and came to my house. He travels Europe doing them, lots of colours/combinations etc. If you want flat bottom, you'd need to find a bare wheel first.
