Just the interior movement sensor I think. It also changes the locking status from double locked (you can't open the doors from the inside or outside) to single locked (locked from the outside but the openable from the inside). Great for sleeping safely in the van.

Was going to say the same thing. Open the driver door, can just open it a touch from the inside, press the button, you will see it change colour. More useful on a pop top, I often enable it when the roof is up and we leave the van, especially in windy weather.

That's exactly what I do. If I'm in the van I'll only ever use the sliding door and opening that only unlocks that door so it's easy to lock it again from the inside.
