Hello all, I am after a pair of T32 springs to help with the rear sagging on my 6.1 T28 van, if anyone can help? Many thanks John

Nailing down T6.1 model to buy - Van weights

Just for balance, search the forum for T28 saggy back end, or similar terms. There are numerous examples of people having to uprate the rear suspension on t28's due to soft rears. The enduring theme of conversions, is that you ALWAYS end up taking more cr4p with you than you initially planned...

Nailing down T6.1 model to buy - Van weights

Only thing to add to that is the rear springs on the T28 aren't as beefy as the 32 because they're not expected to carry so much. That being the case you might find a highly laden T28 sags at the rear like a truck drivers Y fronts. T32 rear springs are very easily sourced cheaply and are...

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Fitted T32 rear springs to my T28, after finding one broken. The back doesn’t sag as much now!

    Lift options

My T6.1 Startline is fully converted and is sagging slightly at the rear (think it started life as a T28.) I want to lift the van (I’m going swamper) Will the spring lift kits sort out the sagging rear? Or, Should I go for a full damper/spring upgrade? Or, are there other options for me...

Best Standard Ride Height suspension for a t6.1 ?

I had t32 rear springs fitted today to stop the rear sagging. It still sags by 1cm when compared to the front. My plan was to raise the van, with SoLow LFT and Install H&R ARB’s. This still may be my preferred option, they are fully adjustable and I know I can get front / rear ride height...

Nailing down T6.1 model to buy - Van weights

Had a t28 as our first van and it did sag big time with a fairly standard conversion. Ended up putting updated suspension on it and was good from there. New van is a t30, but was one of the last ones to roll out and when I took it to have air suspension fitted it turns out they’d fitted t32...

New T28 Owner! What’s your top tips please?

I think your local council website should list public weigh-bridges in the area. Mine did. My nearest was at a sand and gravel yard, charged me a fiver. Mine is a t28 also (although t5.1 so not troubled by adblue) and as a fully converted camper with all fluids brimmed weighed 2260kg. Standard...

    Lots of body roll…..

Driving round wales this weekend and I’m really noticing a lot of body roll. T28 fully converted, sagging at the rear etc. I’ve got some t32 springs coming but I guess a must upgrade has to be H&R ARB’s. It’s got me thinking, I was going to have 25mm spacers fitted to lift the van, but maybe a...

    Replacement coil spring (T6/T28)

I have a converted T28, broke a rear spring and fitted T30 springs from a delivery mileage van. Converters sometimes remove virtually brand new springs to fit lowering versions. Going to the T30 springs stopped the rear on mine sagging as much. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296744981248 £99 for...

    T28 Uprate

Evening all. I was looking for some advice to see if its worth me paying for an uprate to my T28. I have recently installed some T32 suspension which I purchased from CRS, the reason being I was sagging on the rear as its fully converted and I needed the clearance as im running 235/55/18...

    Spring Upgrade - Shocks too?

I guess the difference between a T28 and T30 is an extra 200kg payload? If so they need to allow probably just over 100kg extra rating per spring for a T30 vs what the T28 would require. In a commercial vehicle that’s sold in big numbers is the slight difference in winding really worth it...

I’d suggest speaking to Steve at CRS Performance. He will be able to advise if this is a suitable solution for you and potentially supply you with the parts.

    Saggysaurus

Hi all. My converted t28 is a little on the rear saggy side. It’s currently on the original springs/set up and wondered what are my options to straighten it out as well as lower it a bit? Thanks

    Lots of body roll…..

Do not waste money on A R Bs untill you do the shocks. Roll bars limit body roll by increasing the effective spring rate in a corner only , It wont make the steering feel lighter !!! but the shocks need to be able to control the additional stiffness of the increased spring...

    Camper + towbar = sag

Hi, I've got a t28 with full camper conversion, there's the usual sag over the rear which to date hasn't bothered me over much, but I've recently had a towbar installed and this added to the weight of the conversion plus the occasional passengers, reading past posts on the subject it seem...

T32 springs for my T28 van

Depending on how low it is on the rear you may also need some spring distance spacers as well as T32 springs ? we do have them in stock . The trick here is more about making the spring longer NOT stronger , the stronger the spring is the more harsh the ride will be !!
