Sounds like a DPF regeneration to me. It must have been in full swing when you stopped. They do it every 200 miles.

I’ve haven’t heard of it being an issue with a CFCA, I’ve got approx’ 56K miles on mine without issues. Possibly because there may be less vibration than other engines due to the balancer shafts. If you’ve had an engine rebuild the leakage could be elsewhere, best find it sooner than later.

Update. So had the front egr pipe changed today ( as well as clutch and dual mass flywheel) and has made no difference to the loud whistle I’m getting. When changed they checked the pipe work around it and all seemed fine. Do you think it could be the rear pipe? The thing is there is no...
