    Just arrived

    As Jumpship says - avoid the ones with the Biturbo. They were prone to having the EGR cooler disintegrating internally with aluminium bits destroyng the engine. A lot of owners blanked off the EGR to avoid the issue.

    P0401 with new 2.0 biturbo fitted

    Get the tafmet EGR simulator and blanking plates, even the later revisions of EGR cooler fail in the same way. Been running this way on my 180 for a few years now with no issues :)

    I have the CXEC engine and looking to get a stage 1 on engine and gearbox, was also thinking remove the swirl flaps and map out the EGR and ma fit an oil catch can. How you you pass a not with the EGR out or does it still pass?

    Rear EGR pipe help

    I have a 2016 dsg shuttle with a cracked rear egr pipe. Am in the process of trying to remove but really struggling with the lower rear screw. Access is extremely limited with the cooler in the way. Can anyone help with what tools they have used to access this bolt or any tips? I've no skin...

    Evening I’ve just removed my only manifold, tomorrow I will be removing my EGR valve & cooler, if it is goosed, I’ll be removing it completely… My question is… will the van run and drive ok without the EGR?

    P1440 & P0403 EGR codes

    Any dash lights? P1440 - Open circuit -- thus ECU doesn't "see" the EGR valve electrically. Perhaps the EGR was simply left unplugged or wiring was damaged?
