...I've been reading recently, it is probably already in a shipping container. However - one last ditch try. Sometimes they park it a few miles away for a few days to see if it has a tracker on it first. Maybe worth driving down some cul de sacs and quiet roads to increase the chance of retrieval?

Result. Caravan Guard quoted me £343 with a Thatcham Cat1 tracker fitted, or £358 with a Cat1 alarm. After some research it seems that the T6 Highline comes with a Cat1 alarm from the factory. So a quick phone call and an extra £15 to Caravan Guard and I'm covered for another year for £291 less...

I had something similar fitted into my van and didn't know it was there until I had my tracker fitted. Old one removed and binned.

Bizarrely, insurers aren't usually interested in immobilisers - only in trackers - and they'll specify the minimum Thatcham category required rather than a specific make/model. Cat S7 trackers are good; Cat S5 trackers are better; Cat S5+ trackers are Cat S5 trackers with remote immobilisation...

Just cancel it within 14 days policy. That tracker is v basic and not worth what they're asking for it, especially a defunct one
