    Just arrived

How do Steve and welcome mate . 1.9 are good , a tad agricultural and are maybe more prone to HG failure. 2.5 are great IF they've been maintained religiously. 2.0 in the t5.1 are a pretty safe bet , 6 speed box on the 140bhp is stronger than the 5 speed on the lower bhp models but avoid the...

Could this be the one, price wise what do you think?

How many 199’s were built v how many are problematic? You only hear of the ones that go wrong. Could be less than 5%?? My mate has a 2010 180 bi-turbo. Ok it had a EGR valve done at 80k miles but is now on 200k miles and still pulling like a train. Pays ya money, takes y chance as they say...

    Should I do it?

My mate has had a 10 plate T5.1 from new. 180 Bi Turbo. Only issue he’s had is the old (now updated) EGR. That’s was replaced years ago! He travels back and forth from he’s 2nd home in Wales and is still fine. Out of the 1000’s built you’ll only hear about ones that go wrong.

    102BHP

So a 180 then. The reason I questioned it was because the 150 is not bi-turbo.

    Did the 150 come as a bi-turbo?

Seen a van I like, and it’s advertised as bi turbo with 150bhp, is this right?, I though only the 180 and 204 were bi-turbo Next question, are they any good?

How much of a gamble is a Bitdi 204ps? 2018

...has been great, regularly serviced but no major money spent in the 3 years I've owned it and its on 150K miles.... The case against the T5 180 bi-turbo seems to be completely unquestionable but I have not seen anything convincing for our T6s. As said earlier I think the extra cost of repairs...
