...have any experience with forcing a regen despite "calculated" soot values being over the magic 60g value, or telling the vehicle it has had a new DPF etc?
I am aware this limit is set for a reason and don't have the kit to do it myself but have had the DPF foam cleaner treatment to reduce...
The EGR/adblue delete is quite popular and the van will regen as normal. Personal experience is you'll have EGR/adblue issues before DPF issues but others may disagree
Its 100% safe but like @Dellmassive rightly points out, it's also 100% illegal
...fuels are only likely to help minimise ash produced or clean deposits in the fuel system/injectors.
If you have the Carista dongle try VAG-DPF (Android) or DPF for VAG (iPhone) that might show you more detail.

Rubbish. Two years ago almost. EGR blocked and mapped out and at the same time new VW DPF, one year on the old engine and a year on the new one. I am getting between c125m and 250m between regens depending what I am up to
...perplexed by the way the car runs.
Mostly it bowls along well, if very slow through the gears from D1 to D3. Then every so often it goes into DPF regen mode (I'm assuming), and gulps diesel whilst at the same time running really badly. Power loss accompanied by rough running, as well as...

Has the ECU been remapped?
I would propose to monitor temperatures along the exhaust - preferably all 4 sensors - minimum DPF input temperature.
Ideally using VCDS, or something like -...
I have a T6 Caravelle, CXEB 150Kw Engine, that goes into limp mode.
It needs the DPF to regen, but that has gone too sooty for normal regen, due to running with fuel light on.
Hence need to force regen.

...may fix this, had it a lot on the transporters the emissions system software was plagued with bugs.
May need the adblue tank cleaning as it could of crystallised in the tank.
Yes dpf issues can cause adblue not to work but we've also seen it where adblue issues can be misdiagnosed as a dpf...
By a local garage clears issue for around 300miles then dpf light appears and clears a few days later seems to be a cycle eventually dpf light goes out and flashing coil and engine management light comes on
I’ve jus come to check the DPF after it’s overnight marination, there’s what looks like some sort of vortex generator inside the AdBlue injector hole.
Surely this cannot aid airflow?!
