Apparently there’s 2 startline instruments.
One can be coded so big digital MPH shows other can’t.
Mine has the big digital MPH but nowhere scrolling through the MFD settings says anything about the adblue.
Other than the filler below the diesel filler I’d never know if it had adblue or not.
Here's a photo of the difference in one side of the dipstick & the other when oil is warm (red arrow). Now I noticed a different issue. When cold the measurements show at the blue arrows. On other VW's/Audi's I'd be adding a bit of oil to bring it up to the max line for both blue & red but on...
Our awning cost approx £650 from Go Outdoors, a bank holiday deal for members and an added 10% off with my partners "Blue Light" card, so maybe just a few quid on a scratch card rather than Euromillions required. ;)
so a slight change today, ad blu readout now displays it needs another 1.25-1.5 gallons.
Question ? If I added that, it would
make a total of 3.5 gallons ( around 15litres) , I’m assuming that wouldn’t fit into the adblue tank ?
@Gordon Bennett. Maybe I’m being even thicker than usual but do you mean that you added adblue (ie. not diesel) to more than 2/3rds full? If so how much adblue did you actually put in please?
...post an update about the issue just incase it helps anybody in the future.
no garage wanted to deal with the ab blue and some wanted to do an adblue delete. In the end I rang VW and they couldn't get the van in until the end of May.
The woman informed me that they see recovered vehicles...
I got it fixed today.
Was actually cable tied to the ad-blue hose and was knocking against the chassis.
They installed the pump on its proper bracket and is now silent. (I went to ESPAR in Plymouth).
Approx 1200 miles - I never thought to record the mileage when topping up the as blue. I may have overfilled it. Will it eventually return to normal when I’ve used more adblue?
...in between 100 to 130 miles depending on driving habits. I also get a P20EE that shows up after a longer run only. I have monitored NOX and adblue injection rates and there’s fairly high spikes in Nox and seeming low adblue injection. I have done the vcds dosing test and the injector sprays...
On a T6/6,1 the DPF and SCR/CAT are a combined unit - so be very careful the chemicals you use are also safe for the SCR and you don't damage that.
