    Hi Thanks for the add, I have a money pit of a 16 plate T6.

    Replace the damage and assemble the connector with silicone grease. To protect against rodents you can apply external sheathing, plastic or preferably braided stainless steel. Readily available on Ebay / Amazon.

    I'd ask to see a picture of the damage. Thats not normal at all. Possible rodent damage or previous accident damage.
