It can be done. I’ve fitted a MFSW to my startline and activated CC. You need to add a few wires in. Search MFSW retro fit or CCS retro fit. There’s a few threads on how to do this.

I have a similar issue the last owner cut the multi plug off the loom to fit a new stereo im trying to have my mfsw controls working, does anyone know what colour the can wires are and the factory stereo illumination is also ?

Ran some checks today and got two different codes I checked all the codes and they were in place. Still no working horn or MFSW volume up/down.

My local mechanic in Ratho Station lets me use his at his garage. I can meet you there and talk you through what to do. I'm no expert but have done my lights and MFSW with no damage.

What vehicle and year is the MFSW from? Doesn’t look like the right wheel for a EUR5 to me.

This is what I’m not sure about. The guide was followed for adding a MFSW for a EURO6 T6 not a EURO5. That’s why I tagged @CJW as I know he has done this on his EURO5

Im looking at upgrading the steering wheel on my t6.1 ideally i would like to have the paddle shift enables at the same time. I have seen on facebook people saying they have fitted dsg paddle shift without any need for coding etc. does anybody know if this would be possible with this wheel?

i agree with what you say, but "it is what it is" doesn't convince me to part with almost £500 same as i wouldn't buy the best tyre in the world if it was prone to punctures..

...stock cluster. Except it's aftermarket and doesn't have the same rigorous levels of QA that a US/European product would have. What would be better is if the cluster directly connected to the MFSW and then the original cluster wouldn't be receiving signals. But no idea how feasible that would be.
