Dpf regen throwing up code P0087 fuel rail/system pressure is too low.

Has anyone else had a similar issue and has anyone found the problem. T6 everytime it regens the coil light flashes even though it completes the regen, code is P0087 fuel rail/system pressure is too low. Garage inspected it and fuel pressure isnt low and its running perfectly, no leaks on the...

T6 low pressure fuel P0087 code everytime we fill the fuel tank full

Ok been having issues with low fuel pressure for a few months van runs fone however intermittently does loose around 300-500psi in fuel pressure. All 4 injectors failed so these were replaced first, 6 weeks later code returned, sensor then replaced, not that, then hpfp replaced, not that, then...

Need some help solving a engine problem

Hello, owner of EA189 2.0TDI 103kW CFHC engine here, struggling already a long time with vibrations, and searches in the internet by the IDE numbers have brought me here: VCDS interprets channels: IDE00201 High fuel pressure: specified value IDE00188 Fuel high-pressure: actual value IDE02228...

VW T6 No start but cranking

Could be a red herring but could be worth investigating... If the high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) fuel pressure regulator (N276/N290) on a VW has no power (de-energized), the valve defaults to an open position. In this open-circuit state, the HPFP cannot build up internal high pressure...

    VW T6 error 16110+16114

Hello, got one t6 with low fuel pressure error codes, changed all the injectors, hp pump, and rail with lines complete with regulator and high pressure valve.. and still the same.. measured the low pressure pump to deliver around 5bar. So I assume that is OK. Now im out of ideas... anyone had...

    T6 unable to start

Could you explain how the shavings would get from the HPFP back into the tank? On the quote, he just said everything thing related to it. If the HPFP has failed, would it show low fuel pressure through the fuel rail then?

    Poor starting

You need to get the fuel rail pressure reading. Data from VCDS. Leaking injector/? Dirty injector/s? Low battery power? Air flow, MAP sensor? There is a thread on here showing known good start/shutdown rail pressure readings.

Low fuel pressure, P0087 please help

Thank you, It's done around 2000 miles since the filter was done, so not much. I lowered the fuel tank last November to fit the kombi seat brackets, was very careful not to disturb the lift pump wiring etc. As I've mentioned the hpfp is noisy, is the pressure regulator the one that's attached...

VW T6 No start but cranking

Id agree. I said that in the post above about the pressure regulator valve. It definitely needs checking for power.. A wise old mechanic told me once that "pressure is not created by the pump, that just creates flow... It's the resistance to follow that causes the pressure" Wise words , if...

    T6 unable to start

Thanks for the input! I’ll start pricing stuff up and go from there. Why did you decide to do the timing belt aswell?

    T6 unable to start

Try these guys https://www.pfjones.co.uk/ That's who I used when I did mine, and the injectors are new and genuine but with the vag number buffed off. Also there are no surcharges to worry about. At the least I'd be doing the high pressure pump, injectors, fuel leak off pipes, filter, fuel...

    T6 Sluggish / slow start

Got a video clip of it starting? Drop it on YouTube, it a link to your online album here. What can spec? Is it using oil? Slow start could be, Poor battery health, Corroded main engine Earth, Poor glow plug heating, Dirty injectors, Low fuel rail pressure, Leaking injector, Etc etc etc

Non Start - Low fuel Pressure

I Tried to start my van (T6.1 150BHP Manual CXHA engine 22k miles) As soon as I put my key in the ignition the glow plug coil light came on and didn't not go out there was also an error message on MFD saying ACC error. Struggles with motorway speed.

Did a scan before priming the fuel filter and it showed low pressure in rail - to be expected, then another scan after priming and running the engine and the low pressure fault was no longer there. I'll now do a pressure test with the engine running

    Intermittent hard starting.

very good. . . try to get the RPM gauge in the vid as well, as that will help show as and when the engine rpm is detected. do you have access to vcds scan tool? from what im seeing/hearing so far. the battery and starter motor are good, as the engine is spinning fast enough. there is a...

Hello to every one !! Intermittent hard starting.

What's the engine code?... IE cfca. Early rev EGR coolers leaked into the inlet, showing as dropping coolant. I'd be looking at fuel rail pressure, when cranking,.. IE hpfp. And injector testing for clogging? Does it use oil? Compression test for the cylinders... Low compression? EGR...
