MEKEDE DUDU7 12+512GB for VW Transporter 2020 - Headunit Chat

Yeah I ditched the factory usb connectors and used the ones that came with the head unit, I think you can have 2 usb connectors but I had to use one for the dab tuner and the second one is for connecting a phone or memory sticks

...on them. Just fire an A into one of them and leave the other one with a decent wattage for charging capacity. Personally I switch out a 12v charger socket for 100w Usb C and QC3.0 A port adapter. Then do whatever with the 3 USB A tails coming out of the DUDU7 - accessories etc. lots to choose...

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I've got a 300w panel and only in the last week or 2 have I seen anything even getting close to 100w peak. The sun angle has a massive effect on the output, the sun is only just starting to get a bit higher in the sky now.

Guidance on a possible 200ah setup?

...the shunt, inverter, bus bars, 13v fuse board and isolators its pretty compact and I have it all tucked on the side of the kitchen. I've got a 100w flexi panel but im about to swap to 200w. Plus Jackary and the bigger battery (I do start to run out with 105ah in the darker months) and I'm...

Charging e-bike from leisure battery: blown fuse

100w divided by 12v is 8.3a. So if it's trying to pull 100w from a 7.5a fused 12v socket, that's your reason! I presume the 7.5a fuse is on the vehicle side, not on the charger? Swap out for a 10a - 12v sockets are OK up to 10a, anything more and you'll run the risk of melting them.

Renogy briefcase style solar only 1 amp output

...90deg to the sun. Having said that you haven't said what size panel? Assuming you said 11A, so expecting a 200w panel, as you can get 6A per 100w panel max. What solar controller are you using,? Into what battery? The battery needs to be low to get max power from the panel..... As the...
