    Review: CRS Performance UK

I’m literally just back from CRS, after they fitted some Koni shocks for me; I can definitely confirm that the whole crew there did a brilliant job and went the extra mile to ensure that the new springs were the right weight and the ride height was perfect. Really appreciate your help guys …...

Suspension woes-but not after prolonged use. RESOLVED!

Hi all. I have a T6.1, SWB, Kombi, 71 plate with 60k + on it, and I've had it from new. I had Koni shocks and 40mm lowered springs fitted, ( supplied by CRS) the day I got it, along with some 18" alloys and run 235/55's. Originally the ride was very good, compared to my previous T6, but the last...

    Review: CRS Performance UK

...had been neglected for a while but a broken rear spring finally made me pull the trigger and after an easy chat with Steve we agreed Koni Definition kit all round would lower it 50mm and give me the comfort I was missing. My wishbone bushes were also knackered so the guys put Powerflex in to...

    T6 suspension upgrade Australasia

The KW kit is very good value and gives good results. Is there a KW dealer down your way? iIf you can’t find one I’ll contact them and get some details. But if you look at the more popular solution in our store - the Koni shocks and springs - these are definitely available down your way...

    Comfort again, just wonderful.

I have the Koni/H&R setup from CRS lowered 50mm and run 20’s with 103 rated tyres on a T32 with 38psi all round. Last summer I put my 17” Devonports back on for a long foreign road trip (@6k) with the 109rated van tyres and higher tyre pressures (44 I think). I immediately noticed that the ride...

    Pulling with road camber

Thanks guys. I think maybe it’s worth me trying an original set of fronts if I can find some or anyone local who has some. Cheers, I’ve been to two VW ‘specialists’ for inspections on the front, had three seperate places over the years do an alignment, and almost everything on the front has...

Sportline 677 springs with Koni or b14 dampers

Upgrading the shocks with the sportline springs will make a positive difference to the ride quality, no doubt, but there may be better options within your budget that give a similar amount of lowering. Drop us a PM or email us [email protected] and I’ll go through some options with you...

    T6.1 - 16" Clayton Poor RIde Quality

To be frank. I did not quite realise until it was pointed out just how narrow your tyres are. I had a mind to go on some tyre comparison sites to see what 16 inch tyres might be suitable for your rims to save the expense. For example 215/65R16 would be better than what you have but there are...

Nice one spoke to Steve at. CRS previously and was thinking about the Koni and H&R setup but love the look of what you have done with a coilover set up . Think I also have the exact same wheels on my watch list on eBay , just need van to arrive

    What would you upgrade first?

@wbuchan - as above, once you have got used to the van and enjoyed it for a while you will figure out what is most important to you. That said... a good suspension upgrade would always be right up at the top of my T6 wish list, as improvements to the wallowing stock suspension on my camper...
