Hi, I suspect I'm gonna be pushed to other posts, but I'm just after LED bulbs for the DRLs on my T6 with H4 Lights. Do the error warnings pop up on these, or can i just get any P21W LED bulbs off ebay or Amz and these are fine? Also any recommendations on bulbs? Thanks.

I know there's many threads about the various DRL's but I'm finding myself going round in circles! I'm looking to change the DRLs to LED versions in my H4 headlights. I just would like a white light rather than the dull yellowy colour, so purely a tarty thing! Which do people recommend...

Hey, after changing the front from T5.1 H4 to T6.1 full LED Vland, there's no position light. The light comes on, but the front position light doesn't work. Do I need a rectifier diode for it to work?

I have tried the following bulbs in the nearside HID - very sensitive H7 LED H4 LED H4 incandescent bulb Transporter HQ lamps Standard H4 head lamps. I’ll record the HIDs later to give you a better idea.

Thank you, but I don’t need the actual H4 lamps, which is what that thread seemed to turn into. I’m using night breakers for those which are excellent. It’s purely the P21 drl lamps I’m after.

I fitted the h4 drl led bulbs from Travelling-lite transporters about 3 years ago with no errors since. Not cheap but excellent output.

The lamp units from factory are referred to as H4, H7 and LED Most panel vans had H4, Caravelles had H7 and LED was an option on either....this is being simplistic as any light could be specc'd for any T6 at point of ordering. The H4 units use a twin filament H4 bulb for high and low beam...

Daytime running lights.....in your front light cluster. Depending which cluster you have ? H4, H7, LED or aftermarket

There’s like a million threads on T6 lights on here. Use the search function and you’ll get all the info you need. I replaced my crap H4’s with THQ V3’s with LED bulbs. Huge difference. There’s now full LED headlights available also

Fair enough but realistically unless you're fitting all the stock VW parts that are installed by VW at the factory in the first place then it's aftermarket and as such won't carry type approval and be anymore road legal in the UK than H4 LED lamps.

Yes I had H4’s and they were plug and play, They have 2 led projector units in them

Having moved to dark skies of North Northumberland, I'm finding my H4's sufficient for local night driving. I don't drive much in the dark hours anyway so LED's won't be cost effective for me. Plus I like an OEM look so the only ones I would go for are the Oem H7's or LED's

For clarity… The LED headlight units that have non-replaceable ‘bulbs’, in other words fixed LEDs soldered in place, should be legal (assuming they have genuine accreditation). Headlight units that are designed to take replaceable LED ‘bulbs’ - whether H7, H4 etc. are not road legal despite what...
