Is my T6 lowered and by how much?

The arch gaps are normally 460 mm centre of the wheel to the top of the arch , the T32 has a stronger spring in the rear and we often see 470mm . once the springs are changed this falls away . If you have active koni shocks dont go lower than it is currently ...

Managed to sort it out myself! I noticed the window was not aligned to the frame. I gave it a shove from the outside and the butterfly latch relocated. It works a treat now. Result!

Wheel sizes and tyres for T6.1 T32 4 Motion

You must have the same circumferance for 4 Motion, so if you have different widths then you must adjust the ratio accordingly. Tire Size Comparison is a useful tool. However the general advice is same tyres all round. https://www.t6forum.com/threads/4motion-t32-tyres-and-lowering-advice.16072/

Lowering front end to level van

Thank you so much for this post. So apart from the rear now being “a heavier vehicle” is it still okay on its existing T30 springs or should they perhaps be upgraded to T32 spec. Your explanation of the higher front end resulting in light steering and understeer also makes sense, I have noticed...

    2018 Caravelle body roll

Recently bought a 2018 Caravelle Executive with original 17 inch alloys. New to caravelles/transporters and pleased with everything except for the body roll which doesn’t inspire me with much confidence at all and I don’t drive it hard. I realise that it’s a van at the end of the day but there...

    Review: CRS Performance UK

Last year I went from 20 inch Wolfrace, to 17inch Black Rhino wheels and Falken 225/65R17 tyres myself,,,one of the best changes I've made, tbh. I already had the full Koni setup, and the ride feels firm, but comfortable for me. Im more than happy. I've no doubt the advice given by CRS will...

    Tyre Choices on 18s

Having a hard time deciding on a new set of tyres - on 18inch wheels lowered 65mm front and 35mm rear on Twin Monotube Project Comfort. Based in Cornwall, so rarely get any snow and ice, if ever - campsites in the summer months, but probably 2 or 3 days a year on a potentially muddy field...

Suspension options - looking for comfort ride

Have you used the search function on the forum? This subject has been done to death. Ride comfort is subjective, so what one person likes, another might hate. Talk to one of the suspension specialists and they'll advice you what will work best for you. One thing for sure is that it won't be...

"Hey fellow VW enthusiasts, I'm seeking some advice on choosing the right ride height for my new T6.1 SWB. Sliding Door Lower Rolller - Body Paint

Hi, the rollers have both gone on my sliding door and in the process they have stripped all the paint off where they roll on the bottom of the van. I’ve replaced the rollers but has anyone got any advice on paint? I’m assuming it must be something a bit tougher than a can of Candy White sprayed...
