Thanks for your response.
I've already discounted the 1st option I think, the sub design has 100% put me off tbh.
Voce woofers, what are they lacking compared to the others you've listed?
No reason on the 8inch over the 10, simply just because the company came back with that as an option.
Following on from my last comment. Have any of you got the ability via friends/family to see how close the rear of the mercedes Viano is to the transporter?
Basically I want a 12 inch sub I the van near the wheel arch I'm aware ebay stock these enclosures for 10 inch woofers
However they are...
Is that the "official" subwoofer?
If so how easy was it to fit (physically and wiring) and does it make much difference.
I'm really noticing the difference between the high end system we have in the Volvo and the OK but not great system in the Caravelle...
It's the Kenwood KSC-PSW8
I believe it is the one that VW factory fit.
I found fitting it fairly straightforward.
I've a Highline with no rears, so following a guide on here I added a rear speaker feed to the factory stereo loom and installed speakers in the roof above the second row. I then...
Hi does anyone know how you remove the plastic door step trim on a T6.1, was hoping to route some wires underneath for an underseat subwoofer passenger side.
Cheers
Evening ya'll.
Sorry for any delays in getting back to any of you. The workshop is mental at the mo.
We've got air ride jobs in, audio installs of all sizes and dash/door card retrims in. It's crazy!
Anyhoo, just a quicjie to say looking forward to seeing you all at the spring meet.
Last off...
...head unit the installer checked my settings and according to him only the front speaker channel is visible, He says that he can't run the subwoofer from the front speakers as it will interfere with the tweeters? He said VW can plug in there diagnostic machine and unlock the rear speakers...
Personally package 3, although I'm not the biggest fan of the vocé woofers they certainly aren't bad I just think there's better alternatives out there like the Mille Pro stuff (mpk165.3 in option 2) or Morel Maximo 602 HE.
I don't like the phoenix gold stuff at all hence we don't sell it...
A pair of RE XXX 18" subwoofers... or if your spell checker mangled "spacers" then 25mm thick!
The spacers came as a set with matching longer wheel bolts from various forum members reccomendations.
Hi all
looking for a bit of help. My kombi had a hertz amp, sub and rear speakers fitted when I viewed it. After purchasing and converting, the converter removed the sub as it was under the now swivelling passsenger seat. I’ve now found a place for it and thought I could just connect it up to...
I recently managed to get hold of a kicker under seat sub and few other bits, I ordered some power cable but as you can see in the pic it’s not the same size as the one fitted to the original adaptor.
Does anyone know what size cable this is so I can order some more?
I seem to not have space in my build for both a diesel heater and subwoofer. Where else can they go other than under the seat? It’s standard LWB twin slider kombi.
Because I have a T6.1 I was limited to that particular kit because of the physical speaker size and the sound quality is great but having said that I do intend to fit the amp and under seat subwoofer once Alpine have it in stock.
I’m an idiot but even I was going to suggest that it would depend on the size of the sub (assuming, of course, you’re talking about the woofer variety!).
