...unit, it doesn't sound much float, but hovers very close. I was very happy with a few recent solid installs. I will be back up to see you for lithium upgrades next I reckon. So we need to chat that one through for the Cali Ocean and all it's intricacies. Still absolutely loving that Gladen...
Hi All.
Been looking to swap agm to lithium leisure battery as my agm one is Knacked.
Trawled through endless post and still none the wiser.
I have fitted a Hankook 100amp AGM and would like to know is it a straight swap?
Not brilliant with electrics so here goes.
My electrics set up is as...
My budget Tassimo is rated at 1250 watts, but actually peaks at 1930 according to Cerbo. The vans 2000 watt inverter in the van does grumble a little but completes the job!
Nowadays the coffee machine lives in the awning and my Bluetti AC180 powers it, the airfryer and toaster (independently...
...is pretty much a must
If I was setting it up from scratch, I’d probably go:
2000W pure sine minimum (just gives you breathing room)
Lithium battery if budget allows — handles the load way better
Or even a portable power station (EcoFlow/Bluetti) to keep things simple
That said… I totally...
Thanks.
Initial plan was a smaller battery, but was upgraded by converter, also because I'm not going down the solar panel route at the moment wanted it to be able to cope if I wanted to go 'off grid' for a short while. While I'm going to use a power bank for the interim, theres a possibility I...
...seater in my new conversion as well. I have the 120 cm Duvalay on mine and it works a treat.
Is there a reason you went for such a large lithium battery? I found a 105 lithium fits under the passenger swivel and it’s more than enough for my needs.
Are you fitting an overnight heater? I...

Evening you beautiful bunch!
Weighing up leisure battery options. Is this everything i’ll need?
Plus a cable kit/ fuses. Does anyone know roughly long the cable needs to be from starter battery to under passenger seat?
Also i’m not sure if should get a 30 or 50a charger?
I’m sure i’ve seen...
While I’m looking at upgrading my leisure battery to lithium, could I just buy a Bluetti (other brands are available) and plug in to my electric hook up on the van when off grid? Am I over simplifying this?
I have one. Done 15000 miles in it in 15 months.
The supplied 85 ah AGM is useless. Lasts less than a day. I put in a 100ah Lithium but that also did not cut it. It’s a power hungry beast so I fitted a 230ah Fogstar underseat which fits great under the rear bench seat.
The EHU charger is not...
CTEK 250SE has a 20A limitation, fine for most AGM set ups. 100Ah of AGM gives you 50% of the stored power. 100Ah of lithium gives you 95% of the stored power.
You may find that you would want a charger with more capacity if you plan to use more battery capacity in between driving charges...
...his magic and install the underseat amp and sub.
Too many wires for my little old brain.
Met another member from the forum who was picking up a spare lithium battery, but didn't get their name.
Drove a Porsche with a private plate ending ELK.
Was nice chatting to you, whoever you were...
Those are what I used off both my battery's..
Remember the fuse is to protect the cable.

...My question is, why do i need a positive bus bar and separate individual MIDI fuse holders, when i can run everything from here?
My lithium battery has an MRBF fuse on it, and will run into this, to power/connect to:
Victron XS50 DCDC Charger
Victron IP22 Charger
Autoterm Heater
Output to...
...with the shed cerbo, power cut yesterday, knocked out the WiFi...
WiFi back on now, but cerbo hasn't reconnected ....
Cerbo is powered by 12v lithium battery, so I effected by the power cut.
Can't access to cerbo remotely, so will have to manually reboot. ... Then change the settings.
