Charging up a LifePo4 battery from a state of deep discharge

My solar panel died, it's winter, it's been quite cold and I took my eye of the ball allowing my LifePo4 battery to decend in to a state of deep discharge. I put my charger on with it set to lithium setting but it would not put any chage in. What I had to do was to use a charged up 12v battery...

    Portable Power

While I’m looking at upgrading my leisure battery to lithium, could I just buy a Bluetti (other brands are available) and plug in to my electric hook up on the van when off grid? Am I over simplifying this?

    Lesuire battery

...batteries more than 90% of the battery capacity is available for use. If you have a charger for the current lead / acid it probably won’t be compatible with the lithium battery, neither will some of the cables as a lithium battery max’ charge and discharge rate is much higher than a lead / acid.

    Sargent PF200 charger replacement

That Sargent unit is for lead acid so the Victron with the ability to charge lithium too makes more sense long term, especially if your present leisure battery has carked and whether a new, more efficient, lithium Black Friday bargain/Christmas present is in the mix.

Seat Base Electric + EHU + Solar Install + Charger + DC-DC -- How We Done it --

Yeah i know going 100/105Ah Lithium will pretty much double my capacity and the seat base batteries are fairly pricey. Would the Roamer 144 (or 160S4) be the largest 'normal' battery that would fit?

280ah lithium under T6.1 drivers seat or passenger

If you can find another spot in your van for leisure power then Renogy have got two 300Ah batteries at just over a grand currently, they're heated too apparently. 12V 300Ah Deep Cycle Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery

    Lithium Pro Seatbase 280ah

https://www.lithiumpro.co.uk/newshop/12v-280ah-seatbase-lithium-battery Anyone have any experience with above? They were at NEC. Looking at them as an alternative to the Fogstar Seatbase 230. They make some bold claims Vs Fogstar & are at a higher price point - £1200. Thanks

auto electrician in SW London For lithium upgrade

    Can I mix battery types?

Technically you can provide they are they same chemistry and voltage. (Ie, two lithium batteries 12v one of 100ah and one of 50ah ) But the basic answer you will get is no. Leisure battery lithiums should be a matched pair from new. A 100ah lithium will give you twice the power as a 100ah...

How to discharge my new lithium battery?

I made a bit of an error, I have started my electric install and as a result I've fully charged my new battery without a way to use the power. I wired up the only 2 LED spot lights I've got and left them on for a few hours but it hasn't made a dent. Any way to use it up a bit faster? Or no need...

Leisure battery - help me spend my money.

I'd agree with just 1 battery for now and a new charger. A 100ah lithium is pretty much double a 100ah AGM battery.

How easy is a upgrade to Lithium PO?

After a brief read I'm now thinking lithium may be overkill for my needs due to the expense. Do you have any idea what I would need to integrate a solar panel onto my van to top up a lead acid battery, rough ballpark cost? I'm thinking to upgrade to lithium is going to be at least a 1K investment?
