...thanks for the reply
When I drove it home and the light was off, the start stop works fine. Then when the warning light pops up, it says Error Start Stop on the dash.
I can’t see any history of the battery being replaced, have a full history of the vehicle as is an exRAC so must be original.
Hi all, new here after picking up my LWB 2018 T32 ex-RAC orange machine this week!
Had loads of tips so far from browsing the forum so thank you all.
Looking for advice as I want to retrofit front parking sensors and a reversing camera, and will also be wanting to update the head unit to...
...my new most visited site! I had a T4 which I converted in 2004 but I had to sell in 2007 - I have wanted another VW camper ever since.
I have put down the deposit on a t6 exRAC van and hope to collect it in about 10 days. I am looking forward to removing the racking and starting the...
There are several ways of applying the limiter. I had an exRAC van brought to me that had been to 2 separate garages for the limiter removing, but it was still limited. I checked with VCDS and there are a couple of places where it can be implemented. The engine module has a check box for speed...
you probably did see me!
:)
I'm guessing the limiter just cuts out the power at 70, rather than restricting the power before 70.
I'll do some VCDS limiter research.
Change the fuel filter.
Make a fairing.
Then see - but I really think there's something more to it as 198hp should be plenty
Hi, I have had endless issues with the front end of my 2018 ex-RAC T6.
It's now developed two potentially separate issues where the outside edge of the front tyres is wearing excessively. I've recently had the tracking adjusted at Kwik Fit so this may potentially be sorted but I wondered if it...
Auxiliary battery I took out of my ExRAC van, not been used for months but showing 12.47volts when I just checked. Free collection from West Yorkshire near Rochdale.
You are not alone! You won't lose it in a carpark :think smile bounce:
Plenty of ex-RAC vans on here:

Ex-AA vans will also have similar issues...
Hi Salty Spuds, I also have an
ex-RAC T6 which is Speed limited. I've had it for about a year and a half but and I'd love to remove it (if possible).
I'm down in St.Neots near Cambridge but would appreciate any help or advice you could give me to remove it.
Cheers Cam
You've got a bit of a saggy bottom - so they'll be tight.
If you find you're too close to the wheel arch - going over bumps and rubbing, just throw some uprated springs in there.
I'm not familiar with posh vans. Mine's ex-RAC, so it's been a lot of work, but it's a T32, so no worries about...
I have a exrac van which has the factory fitted leisure battery. It’s an agm battery which was identical to the starter battery until I replaced it with a bigger one as it was failing to start intermittently. Obviously the old starter battery didn’t have enough power to start the van but would...
Hello.
I've come to realise the 2011 ex-RAC Transporter T32 I've bought may have an aftermarket alarm fitted. I know nothing of alarms.
I've been doing a fair bit of work to rhe camper electrics and have been disconnecting the main battery. Whenever I do this the alarm beeps four times when I...
I’m free tomorrow afternoon. I have a liking for IPA, Italian & Portuguese reds.

Hi is there anybody near Sheffield fancies earning a few quid to remove my speed limiter from the adaptations on VCDS for me. I don’t have VCDS so would be much appreciated
Got an exRAC van with all their cabling cut out. All the split charge wiring seems to be in place fine, with working fuses and relay (continuity all checked with engine on and off). Looked at the main battery and saw this cable wasn’t attached to anything though. Failing this I’ll assume it’s...
