I tried to find out who actually makes them also - the closest that I came to anything in a marathon search for an hour or so was a reference to Sargent somewhere. Strange that there is no information anywhere about them.

I did consider this but I strongly suspect that the charger is just connected to the 12v bus inside the unit as the manual states that it will charge whichever battery is selected on the front.

Only comment would be that step 3 and 4 remain dependent on your Sargent unit. To keep it simple you could just wire your victron +12v supply under driver seat.

As @DXX says though, is there any chance it’s a high voltage alarm? Do the bleeps correspond with high voltage spikes?

What lithium did you get? Where is it located, was it easy to get at?

Good pictures of the battery and the Sargent will help :thumbsup: The Victron Orion is a solid unit though it has been replaced by the newer Orion XS which is smaller and runs a lot cooler.
