I didnt ask. Just found an ABT T6 for sale, entered the reg at the all in site, and it said contact your local dealer. When I tried a regular T6 reg of the same year it offered me the plan.

I assume you don’t have the All in plan. This issue was one of the couple of reasons I stumped up for the protection - although from what I hear vw don’t have a supply of head units available. There will be someone on here I am sure however I’ve only come across a guy on Fb Called moody ysm...

Are you eligible for the VW all-in plan? At least you’d get servicing and mots included. The quote above seems a big steep

I think my only other piece of advice would be to try the VW All In package, you get warranty with that. They sometimes discount it at Black Friday and it’s decent value for money with the servicing alone. Sign up, drive it for a bit, look to claim…...

I would definitely move your rear CC2’s to the front and have new CC3’s on the rear…. as you say the fronts will always wear out before the rears so soon enough you can have CC3’s all round. I’m in exactly the same position with the same tyres and the above is my plan.

Had a drive out in the C70 yesterday, roof down with Mrs Sasquatch aboard. I remember having it tuned in 2008 when the warranty expired and being well impressed with the enhanced T5 midrange grunt but now it seems so slow, heavy and noisy - my, how things have moved on in only 2 decades...
