Question re when factory warranty expires

As expected, I didn't receive the promised call-back from the van centre (JCT600). 🙄 The VWFS website, however, was showing the All-in Plan as available to purchase, so I made my purchase. :waving: I considered postponing until there was a sale, but concluded that making alternative...

VW All in plan .. again

Nope, though I haven't looked to be fair. Plan was actually 24 x £34.40 - the £36.50 figure was me misremembering.

    Alpine or Gladen

I was all set on the Alpines. Took the advice about the Gladen’s from here and they are absolutely superb. No tears or sub in my T6 and no plans for them either as they are superb even with factory head unit and tweaked equaliser.

Adblue quality Vs price, is it all the same?

I'm new to all this Adblue lark but planning on putting in 10l when it asks for 10 litres minimum.

    Floor bracket locking hook latches

Hi all, in a T6 LWB shuttle, I've removed the middle row of seats and plan to have a cupboard that can attach to the existing unused floor seat brackets. I would like this to be semi permanent, ideally locked/attached to the floor brackets when in motion and be able to unclip remove the...

VW All in plan .. again

When I took out my All In I had to cancel my existing service only plan - a mild faff as I'd used all the services on it but being still active it stopped me taking out a new one. Just phone them, I had mild difficulty getting them to understand why I wanted to cancel it but you'll get there.

T6 Camper Conversion Electrical Setup – Sense Check Before I Start

Hi all, Starting to plan out the electrical system for my T6 LWB camper conversion and wanted to sense check the layout before I start ordering everything. I’ve attached a rough visual diagram of the planned setup. I’m trying to keep it fairly clean and OEM style rather than loads of...

Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Off up to the Peaks today, outside Bakewell, for a few days, just me and my dog. All my travel plans for the summer got well and truly stuck in the U bend of life due to having a stroke in July, so this is a much needed mini break.

    T6F Spring Gathering 2025

@ToddiesT6 I’m bringing my pizza oven. Plan this year is to par bake bases in the bigger oven at home so all I have to do is top them and flash cook them. What are your plans?

    Solow nsl harsh and bouncy

I'm very happy with the Definition kit from CRS, but I have no plan or indeed desire to slam the van and made the decision off of reviews on this here site. Van is part converted at present for the record, and once all the furniture is in the back, I've been told to revisit them to get it...

Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

...traffic lights drag race. But then received a phone call, saying failed MOT  Now waiting to see if the remaining 3 days of the "All In Plan" will cover this sensor. 🙏 I'll get a response from Vw UK within 48hrs. After approval, as it's not an in stock parts dept item, it will need...

    T6 204 DSG 4Motion DPF removal

This is an awesome thread. I've been planning to tackle this in a few weeks so all the information is really useful. Ash is my issue. I was planning on using HCl and NaOH (diluted ) as per lots of online and YouTube recommendations. I have the Wynn's cleaner also at the ready so will be...

    Grrrr….ruddy suspension knocking noises…

Those symptoms are usually because the ABS sensor and exciter ring on the bearing are dirty , If the fault keeps recurring one of these things will have failed .

I am taking in all of these incoming generouse tips and advice and will use them to the full when I make a start on buying and fitting a new panel. Sold Banded Amarok Steel Wheels

My plan was to fit 235/50/18 all season (Goodyear Vector 4 seasons) but ended up replacing the tyres on my Rotiforms with Crossclimates so didn't see the point in keeping both sets. I will be sticking them on ebay this week if nobody is interested via the forum.

...and further investigation, other stuff needs to be fitted: And today, it's been approved for all to be supplied / fitted under the "All in Plan" The original ABS sensor fitted last week was about £150 & with the above costs being added, that's a 1k bill being looked after. I think it was...

    What Have You Bought Today?

Today I’ve bought the 2 year all-in service plan that’s currently on offer, a USB socket (of the CBE variety) and some spade connectors so I can install the AMT-12 I ordered last weekend. I definitely don’t have a growing pile of things waiting to be installed 🙈
