...what we do for our car and van via Nationwide. Covers the person in the vehicle and not the vehicle, UK & EU. Cheapest we will get for both vehicles. Used it in France a couple of years ago and very happy, even though the car took 6 weeks to be relayed home and repaired under extended warranty.

Ensure you're comparing like-for-like when assessing warranty cover. I suspect the warranty cover provided by the all-in scheme may have more exclusions than an extended warranty. Could be wrong though - just something to check.

Twin slider? They (VW) said the module was exactly the same left to right so you could try swapping them over if you can be bothered.
