Xtrons 15.6inch screen

Have a look at the you tube vidio might help you make your mind up
I had a previous model a few yeas ago although it was good for the money it was not a great picture but i left it in the van over winter and the screen froze up and knackered it replaced it with a clarion in the end and the difference was amazing but saying that things have moved on a lot with these units

My xtrons dvd arrived today, and it looks really smart. Instructions are really basic and no decent description of wiring.

I'm going to power the permanent live off the leisure battery and there is a door switch connection to allow the use of the onboard lights as door lights. The only thing I'm not sure about is the ACC wire which I believe is supposed to be off the ignition so the unit powers down fully when there is no one in the van. However, I would like the screen to be useable when parked up and no key in ignition. Do you think I could short out the ACC with the permanent live, as long as I make sure the unit is turned off when the van is empty.

Playing around testing the gear before it goes in. The xtrons off the leisure battery, the Inverter powering the ps3, mobile hotspot from my phone. Geek heaven!
