Wynona: our build thread

Hello all, been trolling through the forum for over a year now, found it very useful when we decided to purchase a t6 to convert into a camper, so I thought nows the time to say hello and post a few pics of “Wynona” our self build van.

Conversion took 7 months to finish and we managed to have it finished in May for us to start using the rest of the year.



We had a lovely summer of adventures in 2019 roll on 2020...

We did everything ourselves apart from the pop top, that was a job that we really didn’t fancy..

All the work was carried out by my brother in law and myself outside on the driveway weather permitting.

Hopefully in the next few days I will have some time to get a thread up in the conversion section of the forum.

Brilliant! Well done, must have saved a fortune doing it all yourselves. A build thread would be most useful for others thinking of going self build.

It looks great. I've just purchased a converted van, done by a friend of a friend. It has a pop up roof and I'm not sure what awning bar o need to attach for a drive away awning. It seems simple that it has a 6cm kador strip but ones I've found aren't suitable if you have a pop up roof. Many thanks
