hi everyone can anyone help me with wich oil/spec to be used on a 18 plate t6 I looked on a receipt for a service that was done in November just gone .by previous owner by a non franchise garage they used 5w/30 sw30 fully syn 199l.i phone vw service centre today to check and she said its gone 6.000 miles over the 40.000 miles of 2nd service and they used the wrong oil basically saying the warranty on the engine is void turbo etc due to wrong oil but the rest of the van is still covered theres still about 14 months left on it I asked if I could pay the 400 odd for a service with them to try put it right but she would not say one way or another so plob waste of money with them doing it if its the wrong oil I will get it changed if anyone can advise me on the oil etc ,thanks steve
