Working temps/Carpet lining

Hi All
I’ve ordered some 4 way stretch carpet and spray adhesive and am keen to get started in the back of my t6 but a little concerned about the current temperatures that the glue won’t work ?

Can you run an electric heater in the van while doing the carpeting? Heat also makes the carpet easier to shape into corners, etc. I often use an old hairdryer or heatgun to help. Be careful with the heatgun as you can melt the carpet.

I did mine in Feb/March this year, it was bloody cold. I put a small mains electric fan heater in between the seats on the floor pointing towards the back . Worked fine.

Thanks for your reply’s , I’ve got a small heater I can use and a hairdryer will be handy !

It’s more condensation that is a problem on the metalwork a heater will be a big help.

I might hold of for a bit , hopefully diesel heater and leisure battery being fitted in January, I’ll be able to do in my pants with the tunes on
