wing mirror internal component

I am replacing my drivers side wing mirror on my t6.1 highland and this is inside. it won't fit through the housing so how do I disconnect it (and what does it do), I hope I don't have to cut the wire.

Disconnect all cables behind door card, undo ground with 10mm socket on door frame, undo and remove mirror. Then undo ground on mirror frame itself with T15 i think. Pull your GPS cable inside mirror, then pull FM/ DAB cables and ground inside mirror. Undo mirror adjustment cables and you have to pull them other way. No cutting required
