Window Regulators And Annoying Tapping/creaking Noise!!

Booked in at Droitwich today to get window regs replaced under warranty,job well done,no more clunking
windows,glide up and down effortlessly now.
While I was there,I asked them about an annoying noise coming from the door pillar where it meets the windscreen area by the cup holders.
To my delight,I was told they have had to refit loads,as vw for some reason,don't fit these door pillar trims correctly.
The drive home was blissful.

Well, sh*t me! I had the same annoying noise & it took me a couple of months to locate it. Nearside a-pillar trim rattling on screen. I jammed a tiny piece of non slip silicon matting in there and cured it. I'll get mine looked at on first service. Ta for info.
